
RCHS students recently visited the Purdue Campus in West Lafayette. The tour included an informational session, walking tour, lunch in the Union, and a visit to the University Bookstore!






Mrs. Carmony and RCHS are pleased to announce Maria Sanchez, RCHS exchange student from Spain has been awarded the Student of the Year by the International Cultural Exchange Service. She was chosen out of 1000's of students in the organization. She was selected for her academics, community involvement, and positive attitude. Maria's host family is Chris and Marlo Chastain.


The alumni spotlight for the week is 1994 graduate, Jamey Pavey. Jamey is a College Professor and encourages students to get out of their comfort zone! Thanks for sharing your journey, Jamey!


Congratulations to those students who were inducted into the RCHS National Honor Society last week!! Thank you, Mrs Tillison, for putting on this ceremony!


Ashrey Durand is our staff member of the month for RCHS! She has such a positive attitude and strives for greatness every day! Thank you for all you do!!



Last week, we were excited to honor RCHS Student of the Month CONNER DEWITT at the board meeting! He has an incredible work ethic and sense of humor- he is currently ranked 1 in the Junior Class. Congratulations, Conner!




Due to flooding and road closures throughout Rush County, Rush County Schools will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, April 7th, to give our buses, students, and parents daylight to see road conditions.

This week's RCHS alumni spotlight is 2006 graduate, Eric Harpring! He is currently a PE teacher at Rushville Elementary School. Discrete Math and Spanish were classes that stood out to him during his time at RCHS and encourages students to have experiences in the jobs they think they would like to do! Last week at Opportunity School, Anecia Vanest RCHS Class of 96 - speaking about careers in sociology and corrections. Thank you Ms Logan for organizing this for our students!






Last week students had a chance to tour Ball State Campus and learn more about College life! Thank you, Mr. Orme, for organizing the field trip!
