Individually these students are amazing, together they are outstanding. These four students are the faces behind the bottle cap collection for our two memorial benches. Dana Durbin, Isabella Pavey, Carter Barnes, and Adrian Apodaca are the RCHS students of the month. Congratulations!

Students of the month
TR and Heather Campbell were recognized as RCHS staff members of the month! TR and Heather truly create a family atmosphere in their band community and it was truly incredible to read how they have impacted others in the school. They do so much behind the scenes work at the high school! We are SO thankful to have them in our building and community. Please join me in congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Campbell!

Are you familiar with the 3 E's? At RCHS we want to ensure that we have something for every student to be successful after graduation. There are 3 options for students when they graduate high school- more commonly referred to as the 3 E's. Enroll, Enlist, and Employ. Do you plan to enroll in college or another post secondary training? The Indiana College Core could be for you! If you are thinking about enlistment, we have different military branches come to our school during lunches. Come up and talk to them about the opportunities they provide! If you are someone who is going straight into employment or apprenticeship after high school, you could make sure you are setting up your high school schedule to optimize that opportunity with work based learning experiences. If you are unsure about your plan, Indiana Career Explorer is a free online career exploration and graduation planning tool that you can take a look at different careers!

The agricultural program was well represented at freshman orientation on Wednesday January 17. Students were ready to tell the story on how agriculture and FFA can impact their walk through their high school journey and beyond. The agriculture program offers dual credit courses including animal science, horticulture, mechanics, and so much more. Hands on learning provides an informal class setting with tremendous results. The FFA is an extension of the classroom program providing competitive events leadership training while providing a family atmosphere. Mr. Orme and Mrs. Wagner are the instructors.

At RCHS we focus on communication skills in the Spanish classroom. We practice speaking, reading, writing and listening in Spanish. Culture is also included in our studies. Spanish is either an elective or required on most diploma tracks. Freshmen may take Spanish 1 if they earn a C average or more in 8th grade English.
