Bryton Grizzell is WCC student of the month. He is the only student that his teacher has had in 27 years that has applied for, passed the entrance exam and scored a 94% on the interview for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 481 as a first semester senior!

Riley Sheehan is RCHS staff member of the month! Students comment on how kind and caring Miss Sheehan is and how you can truly tell how much she cares about her students. They also comment on if the project breaks in the kiln, she helps put it back together! Congratulations!

Justin Foreman is our RCHS student of the month! His teachers note his positive attitude and excellent work ethic. He is a wrestling captain and never misses a practice or meet! Congratulations, Justin!

Please join us in congratulating Terri Lance on her retirement today! She has been an integral part of our custodial staff and we are going to miss her warm smile and contagious laugh! Retirement well deserved!!!! Thank you for everything, Terri!

Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 17th at 6:30pm for our upcoming freshman class orientation! Welcome Class of 2028! High School counselors will be coming to the middle school to talk with current 8th graders, but we wanted to make sure you put this date on your calendar. We will start all together in the cafeteria and then split into two groups. One group will stay with the counselors in the cafeteria while the other group can walk the hallways and visit different tables (academic disciplines, clubs, activities, sports). After a certain amount of time, we will swap groups. We hope to see you then!

Take a look at the December edition of RushLite! The most current edition will also be linked at the bottom of our website. Great work!

Hello! Rush County Schools have transitioned to a new website! Coming soon will be a RCS app for everyone to download. When we get more information about that, we will let you know. In the meantime, take a look at our new page! There are buttons for quick access to many of the links that are needed often: Harmony access, Staff Directory, and menus! If you keep scrolling, you will see an embedded school calendar followed by some news postings. Thanks!
