The Indiana Department of Education has put out a proposal starting with the current 7th graders (Cohort 2029) for new diploma requirements. We have created a video that talks through that proposal. I have put the IDOE Feedback Form and full State Board of Education slides in the comments of this post.
We don't have much information besides what is shared, so you are more than welcome to ask questions, but we may not have the answers yet. We have already met with our counselors and are working on a plan to ensure we are prepared for these changes.

A special shout out goes to Mrs. Wagner for bringing in her Certified Therapy dog, Daisy, to school last week. On Tuesday morning this wonderful surprise walked the halls of RCHS before school. Seeing everyone absolutely light up when they came to greet Daisy was an highlight of the week! I never realize the power of a therapy dog until I encounter it. I think everyone benefited from this visit this morning and I look forward to more visits from Daisy!!
