We would like to spotlight Trenia Logan, our Opportunity School Teacher! She works with this students to not just make up the credits that they need, but also teaches them important life skills! Trenia's students average 15-20 credits completed every week as a whole. Trenia gives an update on Opportunity School credits below. Thank you for all you do for our students! 2023-2024 school year saw 20 students graduate. We ended the year with remaining current students on target for their class standing with the exception of one student who was still behind in credits. 2024-2025 school year we currently have 25 students. Five of those have already completed their academic requirements for graduation. Two of those five are participating in the ICE program.

Our science department consists of Brooke Edwards, Ashrey Durand, Brad Lawler, and Jessica Rinard. It is always great to pop into their classrooms to see what engaging activities they have going on for their students! Ashrey joined RCHS in the middle of the year last year, so we are excited to welcome her for her first full year with us!

Sami DeLey and Karley Yager are two new teachers to RCHS in the Ag Department. They have hit the ground running with FFA and their classes! We are so lucky to have these individuals at our school! Please join us in welcoming them to Rushville!

Joni Fenimore was recognized at the board meeting at RCHS Staff Member of the Month! Joni has been so welcoming to our new staff members. Many of them comment on how she has been so beneficial in their transition to RCHS. Joni has an upbeat personality and is a phenomenal educator. We are so lucky to have her at RCHS!

Lacie Madden was nominated by Mrs. Hoeing and is the RCHS student of the month! Mrs. Hoeing says the following about Lacie "I have Lacie on Red and Black Days and she pushes herself very hard on every project she has done so far. She does a great job of accomplishing each small task to work towards completing big-picture goals. She has recently created a zombie bank, a heart-and-rose mobile, and ceramic plates. She's done a great job at overcoming obstacles that she's faced and persevered each time. She has grown so much since I first met her three years ago!"
