Last week was assistant principal's week. BRMS is blessed with a fabulous assistant prinicipal, in Mr. Dusty Neal. He builds positive relationships with all students, staff, and community members, works hard on a daily basis, and is truly a positive light at BRMS. We are very thankful to have him at BRMS!

Earlier this school year BRMS was awarded a grant to bring archery into our school. This week Mr. Martz's classes have begun the archery unit. We plan to offer this as a club next year and begin participating in competitions. What a great opportunity for our students!

Earlier this semester many of our 8th grade students lost out on some real life experiences that were going to be provided during the school day. We are wanting to at least be able to provide a fraction of those experiences to those students. We are in need of parents, local businesses, community volunteers, etc. to provide the following experiences to our students. 1. All things money (banking, budgeting, spending money) 2. Food unit (learning how to cook, bake, etc.) 3. Sewing, crocheting, etc. If you or someone you know that might be interested, please contact Jeremy Powers, principal at 765-932-2968 or powersj@rushville.k12.in.us to discuss further how this would look during the school day.  Sincerely, Jeremy Powers Principal
