From Mr. Scheidler's Desk

Respect, Responsibility, and Personal Best! The 2022-2023 school year marks my 30th year serving Rush County Schools as either a teacher, assistant principal, and principal for both RCHS and BRMS. At Benjamin Rush Middle School, we pride ourselves with the ability to provide a positive atmosphere that promotes the progression from elementary to secondary school, opportunities to reach their academic and social potential, and instruct students in the development of skills needed to be productive members of society. As a 1 to 1 school, each student is supplied with a personal Chromebook providing opportunities to develop important 21st century skills in addition to their academic pursuits. Teachers use this technology as a tool to develop and drive active and engaging learning activities. Benjamin Rush Middle School recently incorporated the BRMS Cares program which promotes 9 character traits focusing on kindness and doing good deeds for others. It is my belief that focusing on all aspects of these character traits, BRMS can continue to be a great place to attend school and learn! Please feel free to navigate my web-site. If you can't find the answers to your questions, please feel free to call or email me here at school.
